I honestly couldn't tell you why suddenly I had an obsession with the swamp girl way of life, but one night I couldn't stop myself from researching the Everglades and images of the frogs, fish, flora, and fauna. I quickly began creating these bright and joyous swamp scenes and I just had to get them out of my head. Maybe it's because it's a terrain I have yet to see and I know the day I get to witness it is coming soon or maybe it's because I just needed to see something completely new. Who knows? What I do know is I love these two mugs so much and I could be more obsessed. I also really enjoy the fact that I built these with slabs, a first for me and something I will certainly be exploring more in the future!
